Hey ladies,  I just had my first HSG done.  I really psyched myself out reading about all these horror stories online and how painful it was.  I wanted to write a post to tell you, it's not that bad!  The tiny balloon felt like mild period cramps but it was over SO quick.  Uncomfortable?  Yes.  But definitely not as painful as everyone keeps saying.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.  I would love to take away the anxiety anyone is feeling.
