SPOTTING!?

I had heavy brown spotting for about 3 hrs yesterday and now nothing. What is this?

I have stopped taking BC and I haven't had a period in about 3 months and this is the first experience on any blood since then. I have had unprotected sex but I'm not sure if I could test tomorrow since I have stopped bleeding or if I need to wait.

I've had that before, it's just old blood that's being cleaned out. Usually nothing to worry about :)
