***update*** 16 weeks with heavy bleeding
Just went to ER after going pee and soaking toilet paper with bright red, watery blood, toilet water was red! Had ultrasound at ER and babies looked good, measuring a head, strong heartbeats, moving around like crazy. The Dr told me they have no idea why I am bleeding but to go home and rest and make appointment with OB first thing Monday, which I plan to do. Or come back into ER if bleeding gets worse or clots come out. I am still bleeding, but it's lessened, I am just so worried because they couldn't find a cause! Anyone else have heavy bleeding in their pregnancy? And what was the outcome/reason? They didn't see any bleeds on US, or any subchoreonic hemorages... 😣
***update***
I saw my OB today and she did another ultrasound and thankfully babies are still doing great! She said because they didn't see any cause on the ultrasound they don't know why I bled, and that sometimes they never know. She said heavy bleeding can be normal, especially with twin pregnancies. Could have been a popped blood vessel in placenta or piece of placenta fell off, but either of those things she said not to worry the placenta will heal. She said to expect to bleed brown blood for another week or two, but that it's good because it means the blood is leaving my body! Hoping this is the end of all this bleeding fiasco!
