Is it inappropriate to keep pictures on social media of you and your ex kissing?

My bfs ex still has TONS of pictures on instagram and Facebook of the two of them kissing. She cheated on him and has been with the guy she cheated with for over a year now. She does post pics with her new bf, so I'm wondering why she can't go back and delete the old ones. I'm just curious why she wouldn't want to delete at least the pictures they are kissing in? Yes I know I sound like a stalker but aren't we all a little bit?

Yeah that's weird whenever I've broken up with someone I've deleted all pictures on social media my husband has an ex that still has a picture of them from forever ago like 7 years ago and she was a whore so maybe it's a whore thing lol but it definitely irks my soul

I'm married (and 29 years old) but I still have photos of my exes and myself on Facebook. I've had fb for 11ish years (since the year it came out!) and it's basically my photo albums for a lot of things. I just see it as phases of my life, and great memories, why would I delete that? I am on good terms with my exes and my husband has never mentioned it bothering him.

Inappropriate... probably, but it's not your boyfriend with the pics on his social media. So I say don't worry about it. Let her new boyfriend tell her he thinks it's weird she still has pics of her ex. 😊

Why should someone delete all of their history every time they start over?! I never understood that. I've been with my husband so long I didnt have FB before him. Hell I didn't even have MySpace before him. We had actual pictures back then (when dinosaurs walked the earth). I didn't burn all of my old photos and my history with my long term ex just because I had met my husband. That's ridiculous to me. It's my life. It happened. I shouldn't have to erase it. Stop stalking your boyfriends ex girlfriends page. The only crazy one here is you. Why are you even on there?!?

I went back and deleted all my pictures of me and my ex husband when we divorced. It was just too weird when they popped up. Not something I want to see!

Some pictures are fine but keeping pics of them kissing is super weird. Maybe she likes to think of herself as really hot and desirable to many men, and likes to show of the guys who have been into her. Shot in the dark.

It's just social media. I personally don't have pics of old bf on facebook, but then again I had never posted pics of a bf on my facebook. Now they are old pictures. You have him, you have his heart. So what. Pick your battles

Okay I understand that it's apart of her past and what not but it was a messy breakup. Who'd want to hold on to something like that?? Also, the only pictures that really irk me are the ones where they are sucking face. I don't care if she keeps a few of them hugging or whatever but you'd think since she has a new long term relationship she wouldn't want her bf or his family to look at her page and see photos of her kissing her ex.
