Help 😥 BF Troubles

So I'm 19 and my boyfriend is 25. Earlier today we were video chatting and his phone blew up. He said it was something he was dealing with all day and it was personal. He told me he didn't want to talk about it. I'm just nervous about what it was. He has pleanty of friends that are girls that are actually into him... I'm scared. But I want to trust him. I'm just paranoid. But I told him it was fine that he didn't tell me. I hate lying to him but I don't wanna be that annoying girlfriend that's too needy. I don't know what to do.
