will they keep me?

i was 3 cm dilated last week. if i go to my appointment this week and i'm 4cm + will they consider that active labor and keep me? ftm who is extneekt uncomfortable 😅😅😂

With my first I walked around at 4 cm for 3 weeks. He was born 5 days after his "due date". As long as your water hasn't broken and you're not having regular contractions they shouldn't keep you.

Where i live, the hospital won't admit until 5cm which is considered active labor. But I got admitted  because of high blood pressure at 3cm and because the baby's heart rate. Your hospital might be different?! Good luck and prayers.

I went in Friday evening at 3 cm and contractions averaging 5 minutes and they kept me. It can depend on your doctor, the on-call doctor and how busy the hospital is. My cousin said recently they had deliveries on gurnies because they were so full. Luckily they kept us and we delivered early Saturday morning. Good luck to you!
