My son is bottle fed. He seems to be waking up a lot more at night than other babies his age. He weighs 15 lbs 9 ounces and is ten weeks old. He normally goes to sleep in his bassinet around 10-11pm. Tonight it was closer to 11pm. He woke up at 2:30 and ate about three ounces and went back to sleep. Then he woke up at 4:00am. He's eating now. And normally he will wake up again at 6 or so. Then 8 something. Some friends say their babies will sleep 5-6 hour stretches without eating. I'm afraid he's not getting enough rest and neither am I. I would like to go back to work at this point but I won't be able to until he's sleeping more. Today during the day he only took one nap that was about two hours. There aren't any other distractions or noises keeping him up. Any suggestions?
