ovulation symptom question...

Last month I took an opk and bd when it was positive and also before. About a week or so before my period, my urine has a distinct odor - and I know I'll be getting af afterwards. I'm wondering if anyone else experiences this "symptom?" Maybe it's when the egg Is released? I didn't do any bd during this time - I was crampy. Maybe this is why I got the bfn. Anyway - anyone?!?
