The day after Christmas I went to the ER and they found a 13cm cyst on my right ovary. I have surgery on the 28th to remove it but I think I have to have an open surgery and not laparoscopically. I am 30 years old and I was just curious if any of you ladies have been through the same thing and if you have any pre and post surgery tips. Anything will help me really since this is my first major surgery (I have had wisdom teeth removal surgery but that took all of 15 minutes).
