Most people will get a hemroid at some point in their life. It never completely goes away after they recede but the pain should stop when that happens. When they happen they are typically very raw and painful and it could take weeks for the receding to occur.

There's over the counter treatments for hemroids or prescriptions. I recommend using wet wipes and a stool softener (throw away all wipes, never flush *any* kind of wet wipe. Even "flushable" ones). The only other way is to surgically remove them.

I have the hemrroids. It doesn't hurt but it can get annoying when I stand. Just got to OD on that fiber
