When I was pregnant with my daughter (10 years ago) I had just gotten the job I have how and we were broke for Valentine's Day and living in separate cities. He came to my town and surprised me. We wanted to do something but had no money for expensive gifts and dinner. We decided to cook our own meal. Well, even the steaks at the grocery store were too expensive so we made cheese burgers. They were the best cheese burgers ever! Since then, every year we make cheese burgers at home instead of going out to restaurants and waiting in lines or spending a ton of money. It has become a tradition we look forward to. And we change up the ingredients 2 years ago they had blue cheese and pears, last year the burgers had Hatch green chile and avocado. :) yummmm

No we don't  Celebrate Valentine's Day. I do think it's just a gimmick to get you to spent money that you don't have . I show my love ❤️ to my boyfriend all year around not just one day .....

Nope. My husband is truly amazing and he spoils me all year round! We're not romantic at all but he knows how to keep me happy 365 days a year!

I get flowers at work and a gift at home, he gets a gift and massage. We go out to celebrate too. Yeah we do spoil each other all year long, but Valentines is another excuse for extra spoiling.. So why not?

We don't go all out but he gets me flowers or chocolates. I usually get him clothes or shoes but this year I got him snacks & writing corny stuff on it. He wanted to take me out but I'm 38 1/2 weeks pregnant & didn't want to deal with long lines just to eat so I asked for pizza ☺️
