How long did it take you to get pregnant after coming off birth control?

I stopped taking the pill about 6 months ago and recently started to ttc. My best friend has been trying to get pregnant for 8 months after getting of the pill and hasn't had any success. I was on the pill for roughly 7 years.. so I need insight on the topic! Thanks in advance!

I was on birth control for 8 years and it took us two months. Unfortunately ours didn't have a happy ending, but we'll be trying again soon.

I was on the pill for about 7 years with only a year break halfway thru. Went off the pill at the end of September 2016and got pregnant in December.... it can happen!
