Confused wife

I'm confused about my Hubby's thinking. He doesn't believe in gift giving. Okay, I'm fine with that. He didn't give me anything for my birthday, Christmas, our anniversary or Valentine's Day. But then he buys all these gifts for his brothers and parents for Christmas, mind you they're expensive electronics and items. And then wants to buy them other gifts for their birthdays and graduations? I remember this past Christmas my MIL asked me what her son got me for Christmas. I said nothing, I almost cried. I felt so lame and left out while watching his siblings and parents open their gifts. Is this normal? I'm his wife and he doesn't buy me anything but then goes to buy his family expensive things. I can't understand his thinking. We talked about it, he wants what's best for his family, I get it. He hasn't gotten my parents anything special either. He's okay with spending $$$ for his family but he won't spend for me and our baby. I've been holding back on buying clothes and baby gear for our baby. She'll be here in a few months. Is he being selfish or am I the selfish one with my thoughts? feel left out from being a part of his family.
