My baby is only 6 weeks old but for the past week she will "laugh" in her sleep. I'm not sure if she is actually laughing so that's why I put it in quotes. I'd say she has laughed four times at this point and three out of those four have been when someone else is laughing. She has yet to do this while awake though. Has anyone else had their baby laugh so early? Is she just mimicking/practicing? I read a baby doesn't laugh until they're 3-4 months old so 6 weeks is pretty early. I thought I was just hearing what I wanted to hear but my good friend and MIL both confirmed it on separate occasions. She seems to be doing it while she dreams. Her eyes twitch, she'll smirk and smile then start laughing.
