Quitting effexor- 1st trimester

You should get professional advice from the prescribing doctor. It's rarely recommended to quit drugs like that cold turkey.

Talk to your dr. Some of the medicines require weaning off of it. 

I took Effexor years ago and I recall having significant withdrawal symptoms (could communicate effectively, numbness in face and hands). I would do every other day for a week, then every three days and then stop.
