I doubt that they're harmful to your little one, but keep in mind a lot of women have gum issues and increased sensitivity during pregnancy (even if their teeth have always been perfect).  I'd talk over out with your dentist and/or OB.

Idk about harming a fetus but the extra chemicals wig me out.

Try a brushing with a paste of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide once a week. It's bitter but will clear most stains that aren't too old. I've been using it to get rid of soda stains for years. Don't swallow it, obviously, and rinse your mouth out.

I was told nothing with whitening agents while pregnant.  That included toothpaste.
