miscarriage?

Question

I have been having brown spotting since Friday (never even filled up a pad in 6 days) also had some rust (red/brown) colored bleeding. Got my hcg levels tested yesterday and were 315 for 5.3 weeks which is pretty low especially since I found out 2 weeks ago. Doing another test tomorrow but pretty sure I'm having a miscarriage. Has anyone had a miscarriage and had symptoms like this? Minor cramping, but hardly any blood. Passed a couple small things like this. This is the biggest.

Before I had my miscarriage I had brown spotting for a few days. I went to the dr and they did an ultrasound and baby was still there but low heart rate. Went back a few days later and baby wasn't there it took me over a week to actually bleed and pass the baby. I'd call your dr first thing in the morning to see if you can get in to get an ultrasound. I had bright red bleeding and blood clots that looked like that at 4 weeks and 2 days. I was so scared I was shaking. I was afraid to get up off the toilet because I felt like the baby was just going to come out. I walked very slowly to my room, changed my clothes and drove myself to the ER. I was literally waiting in the waiting room for an hour and a half. When they finally took me back into the room the doctor did an ultrasound and since he didn't see anything on the ultrasound he told me that I was having a miscarriage. I went home very sad, but I googled miscarriages and it was nothing like what I was having. So, I called my OB first thing in the morning and she ordered a stat hcg blood work. Turns out that it was too soon to see anything on the ultrasound. I just turned 15 weeks and baby is doing great.

For me I spotted pink in the beginning of my pregnancy. Then it stopped around week 6. I had no other signs that I was going to miscarriage. But when I went on for my 9 weeks scan my baby had stopped growing around 6.5 weeks. I have a D&C tomorrow since it's been 3 weeks since the baby died and my body hasn't miscarried. 
But not losing hope that my next pregnancy will be a sticky one. And nothing can keep us from moving forward. Even though this pain is unbearable at times.

For me, I didn't get any brown bleeding.  A few days earlier I had low back pain (what I got just before my period), and then started with light red/pink spotting.  I just knew.  Went to the hospital and a few hours later was told my baby had stopping growing 1.5 weeks earlier.  The bleeding got heavier that day and I passed large clots later that night.  My baby was nearly 9 weeks, but I thought I was 10.5 weeks.
I guess it's different for every woman and how far along you are.  My SIL had bleeding for weeks in first trimester and her girl is now 2 months.  Definitely get medical attention but try not to loose hope.  I hope it's just a fright and your baby is fine :-)
