starting up BF again, is it possible?

I quit BF when my LO was 2 weeks old because it was really stressing me out and I gave up. I've regretted since, I feel like my body was doing exactly what it should've been and I copped out because it was too overwhelming. Well I'm 4w pp now and my breast have went back to normal but when I squeeze them I can hand express milk still, it starts off really watery and clear but then is bright white. Do you think it'd be possible for me to start BF again? I really want to give this another chance, if it is possible...should I pump just to make myself produce more?

If it's only been 2 weeks, I definitely think you can start back up. I'd start by pumping a lot too. Try to get baby to latch but also pump to get your supply back up. Good luck momma!!

You need to contact a lactation consultant about re-lactating. It's definitely challenging and hard work but can be done by some women. The most success occurs if women initially had a full milk supply, which is 24-36oz per 24 hours at 2ish weeks postpartum.

If it's only been 2 weeks I'd say go for it. I'm sure it would work out fine. Just having the baby on there can stimulate more milk production and it should be ok. You could also contact your local Le Leche League or the hospitals lactation consultant if you need help.

Look up power pumping and give that a try. If you're easily able to produce milk by hand expressing, I would say you have a pretty good chance. The trick is pumping and/or feeding often to make sure your supply starts to build back up instead of disappearing.
