Anyone use a belly band after delivery? Did it work?

Not sure if it's worth it to get a post pregnancy band and if it actually helps your waist to shrink quicker. 
 
If you used one, what brand was it and would you recommend it?

I'm using a postpartum band because at my post partum appointment my Dr said they are amazing, she's a woman BTW lol...

The thing drives me crazy I was actually thinking of skipping it tmrw, on the days I don't wear it I have no pian and the days I do I get pain, I still have a few stitches on my csection and I'm almost 4 weeks post partum. Try it if you like it use it if you don't then don't ^_^ some days it helps a ton with fitting into clothing right so it's not a complete nuisance

I haven't had a baby yet, but I'm pregnant and plan to use a postpartum band and then transition into waist training after the baby is born to help push everything back in place and just the added support in general.

I had a band, but it was just from the hospital...I had a c-section, and they said I could use it if I wanted because it makes you feel more in tact after being cut open...I used it for a few weeks till it started healing, and definitely helped with discomfort and feeling more held together...not sure that it made me lose weight or anything though..

Yes I did and this was me 3 weeks pp. I breastfed too which helped a ton but I also have a really high metabolism

I just ordered one on Amazon...not to necessarily shrink my belly but to help everything feel more supported as my uterus shrinks back in the days after and while my abdominal muscles recover a bit. More for support than weight loss/sinching for me.
