A friend or relative to come live in your house for a while? I wouldn't, I don't care who it is. As long as they're not dying or homeless, then no. If they come on holiday and don't have where to stay for a few days, then sure. But to proper move into my house, hell to the no. I can't even stand it when I have guests around as I have to make sure everything is clean and tidy after they leave. I just feel uncomfortable, especially if they use my toilet lol. I'm all like "what if they have some disease, I have to clean it just to make sure" 😂

My fiance's friend is currently renting out our basement. He had no where to go and the extra money is helpful. He's hardly around, works from 4pm-2am so sleeps during the day. Usually goes to other friends places or his gf's on most weekends. Rarely see him and have never had a problem. He's currently looking for a new place with his gf now. I think it really just depends on the situation.

I've let a "friend" stay with my husband and I threw different times. Each time he has screwed us over and is so disrespectful once he gets comfortable. He couldn't even pay us $50 a week to help out. And was making more than my husband at the time. He even told his friends that we "used him" and he bought all the groceries and did all the cleaning. He had even said he wasn't going to pay us to stay. I will never ever let another person stay with us. Ever.

Depends on who they are. I'm big on family. My bf was homeless for a little while when he turned 18. He had a job, just not enough money to stay anywhere and his mother had just abandoned him. His scumbag brother let him stay at his house for $400 dollars a month. Later we found out that his brother stole my bf's trust fund money ($100,00) in order to pay for that very house he charged him rent in. Personally, I'd open my home to a family member in a heartbeat. Even close friends that I consider to be family. I'll help out where I can whether I feel it's necessary or not

No, I start to feel extremely irritated and impatient after a friend or family member stays with us just for 3 days. I'm big on needing space and privacy to unwinde and relax, I also think that may have to do with my social anxiety, it can get really exhausting. My in laws tried to convince us to move in with them because they wanted to have a big family home with generations living together, but I can't WAIT to get home after a week Max holiday with them, family members on my husbands side have stayed with us for a month and by half way through I was struggling to act like it was all fine, of course I wasnt openly rude, I just couldnt wait for them to leave already, I'd go into our bedroom after dinner for some quiet alone time, get some space after them being in my face all day but theyd just walk into my room and keep talking, ugh, I just cant do it.

Yeah I would bc that's the kind of person I am. But now we just won't have any room our house is only a 2 bedroom and we now have a baby on the way. So now unless it's a night or two and they don't mind sleeping on the couch it won't happen.
