Has anyone used VCF film inserts before?

I found these VCF spermicide film at the store. I wanted to see if anyone has used these as a form of birth control before.

This product made my hubby's penis BURN. Tried it once & threw them out. Could have been an allergic reaction he had. I was fine.

Yeah, right when my mom found out I was sexually active she gave me a box and gave me another talk. I got on birth control pills right after that...they feel like a listening strip but bigger and dissolve when you put them in. I didn't get pregnant but we also used condoms.
