Are you open minded?

I'd like to think I'm open minded. I can understand and see where people come from on certain topics and I'm open to people providing evidence to change my mind,but then there are some things I just feel very strongly about so I choose to not speak on it. What about you?

But some things I have my mind made up...and if you think your changing it you would have better luck draining the ocean with a straw.

I'm one of the most open minded people you will ever meet. 
I have my opinions on things, but I am genuinely interested in the opinions and experiences of others. If I have something wrong, then I would like to know so that I can correct it.

I like to understand all sides of a situation because I think that is how you will reach peace and good solutions. Through compassion and understanding.

If I don't understand something, I research it and ask people so that I can.

Hate, judgement, or fear of things you don't understand is not the answer. Not being able to admit when you are wrong, is also not the answer.

I'd like to say I'm open-minded but all of my opinions are strong. I'll always do my best to listen and try to understand where someone is coming from but if they can't give a strong reason on why I should change my view to correlate with theirs, I won't. I need evidence in order to change my opinion because I've already based most of my opinions very strictly off my subjective views of morality in combination with what evidence can support.
