My beautiful daughter is now nearly 4 month and just had her tongue tie op, these 4 months have been so had on her and on me watching her as I couldn't help we tried breastfeeding as I have done with my other 3 when she was 2 days old she was taken to special baby care with a suspected twist in her bowel because she wasn't pooping and was sick a horrible gloppy neon green anyway after scans it was an infection in her belly she was tube fed and I tried my best to hand pump and machine pump and nothing I think it was down it me how I was feeling, scared, upset, drained. So she was tube fed for 4 days with milk and antibiotics every day and night I tried to get milk and felt good with every little bit so when she came home we tried again any nothing we went in on day 6 for her check up and the doctors noticed her tongue tie and lip tie witch to me wasn't noticeable even thoe her tongue tie was so tight. So she was referred we waited and waited and after the dreadful feeding because she couldn't get hold of the teat she would get so frustrated and upset it was torture for me because I couldn't do anything. Anyway last week she had it done it took seconds they didn't numb her mouth or anything just cut so quickly while I was there talking to the surgeon she was a fantastic baby surgeon they sat us in a quiet room afterward and I feed her straight away and oh my god it was fantastic yes it was a little bloody but she wasn't crying she just wanted that milk and I wanted to feed her for hours. I might be talking gibberish right now but my beautiful little girl has been though hell in this short life she's had and I'm so so proud of how strong she is and she has changed me so much yes there's been hard tired times but oh my god I made her and she's made me.
