baby shower etiquette

Ok so i have a family member on her fourth child shes 25 financially unstable 3 different daddys so I know she needs help . But my question is is there a limit on how many baby showers you can have is it really ok to throw one everytime i dont want to seem like a bad person but my gosh im like im so tired of buying gifts not just her but at my age so many friends are getting pregnant right now already had their first and close in ages 😩 my grandmother said back in her day they didnt do that
