I'm just wondering if I'm alone on an island here. When I had my son I stayed in the hospital for a total of 4 nights. I sent my husband home every night. I didn't want to be in that uncomfortable hospital bed! Why would I make him sleep in a chair when we have an amazing king size bed at home? Plus with vital checks and breastfeeding I figured one of us should get some sleep! He was there every morning by 7am with a giant coffee and stayed till 8-9 every night so it's not like he missed anything.
