My 2 week old usually breastfed anywhere from 10-30 minutes and got what she needed from one breast except 12am-3am was usually her fuss cluster feeding time when I would have to switch breasts a few times to satisfy her. Yesterday she had 3 extra feeding sessions that were fussy cluster feeds and today all but 1 of her feeding sessions were 1.5 hours or more and required I switch multiple times to satisfy her with one of them ending in me being too sore to keep going after 2 hours and my husband feeding her an oz of stored breastmilk only to have her still crying until he put her in her soothing swing. Is this some crazy growth spurt or has she discovered comfort nursing??
