Cloth diapers..the best?

I used disposable diapers with my first two.

I plan on using cloth diapers with this little chick to save money.

What's the best kind/brand?

There are tons of good ones, but we love GroVia the best!! Although smartbottoms and bumgenius are great too! Don't try to find the cheapest brand, but definitely look for deals.

I think there's no best brand. It all depends on baby, and your preference. There are all-in-ones that have the padding built into the diaper:when baby goes, you take off the entire diaper and wash the whole thing. There's pocket diapers, that have a space for an absorbent pad.And there's the diapers that take inserts. When baby goes, you don't have to change the whole diaper, you just change the pad or insert. 
Then there's hybrids, which are a little of all three. Some babies need more padding, some babies need more space around the legs. I haven't cloth diapered yet, but I bought a stash off a former cloth-diaper mom. I got a mixture of grovia all-in-ones, and a few pocket diapers from bum genius. I recommend doing that. Someone else has already figured out what works for them, and you can get them cheaper than the $20-30 per diaper brand new. As long as the other mom took care of them (which they should, since for a while the diapers were going back on their child's bottom), they should be clean and virtually stain-free. Or look into any baby boutiques in your area. I have one close by that sells cloth diapers, and they had a ton of information and advice.
