first trimester and searching for jobs??

Question

Anyone else considering a career/job change in their first trimester? Part of me feels guilty but the other part of me knows that I need to do what is best for me and my family! Any advice? I am only 7w 5d.

I am 5 weeks 5 days with my second pregnancy. My first ended in a miscarriage at 7 and a half weeks. I am applying for a promotion at my work, my boss got promoted and I'm applying for his job. This would be my second promotion with the company. I feel conflicted. But they can't use my pregnancy as a reason to hire or not to hire me, so I don't owe them anything, but to show honesty and consideration I may say something later on, depending on how long this process takes and how I progress. After how my last pregnancy ended I don't want to tell anyone for a while.

I just applied for a position with my current company. I hope that I get it. I'm 12 weeks so I will be out of the first trimester really soon. All of my benefits and leave time will transfer so I don't have to worry about dealing with maternity leave issues. Just go with the best decision for your family.
