mental health rant
I'm sorry but I needed to vent. One of my friends just sent me this (picture below) saying "haha this is brilliant, do you agree". No I don't agree. Bipolar isn't your mood changing every 5 minutes, that is emotional instability. Bipolar is having episodes of clinical depression where your mood reaches so low that you're lost of all hope, you can't even get out of bed in the morning, wash, shower, constantly tearful, and much more (I won't put it on here because of triggers), this can last for 2 weeks or more if it's bipolar and days for cyclothymia (a mild form of bipolar) And it involves having episodes of mania/hypomania. Again lasting for a couple of days to a week, where you're so hyper you forget to eat, or drink, and you can't sleep. Your talkative and have so much energy, and you become deinhibited putting yourself in danger. Bipolar is about taking 3 lots of medication every day just to function normally, and having continues doctors appointments for medical reviews and plenty of expensive theraphy. Please, mental health isn't a joke and it affects so many people and so badly. Please everyone just think 💭 rant over! Feel free to comment what you guys think xx
