So one of my suitemates told us that at the end of the year she was moving to Orlando because she had gotten accepted into the Disney College Program. (She graduates in May). We were all really excited for her and then on my suitemates asked what she was going to be doing (we all expected her to say entertainment because she is a music major and a very good singer and flautist). She said she was going to be doing hotel services, we were all confused by what that meant so then she said basically she'd be a maid. This is where I got kind of judgy because why would she take a job as a maid after four years of college and after paying 50k for the degree. It doesn't make any sense. Can someone explain what The program does? I'm just trying to understand why she's taking a job like that.
