If I take my pill everyday at the same time for the past 2 months should I be ok to have unprotected sex?

My friend has a 1 year old daughter. The same friend had taken her birth control on time for years, never missed. And she got pregnant the first time her boyfriend forgot to pull out. My mom got pregnant 14 times on different forms of birth control. From the pill to the iud. I know 4 other women who got pregnant on the pill too. 
Basically, I know all these women personally so I wouldn't risk it if the odds are really that high
