Pad Irritation?

Okay so I got the mirena IUD inserted about a month and a half ago. I am still spotting (mostly brown blood). I know it is normal to spot for 3-6 months after insertion (I've already discussed it with my doctor) but bc of the spotting I have to wear pads all the time so I don't ruin all my underwear. The only problem is all this pad wearing is starting to cause irritation. I know it's not the brand bc I have been using the same brand of pads my whole life, I think it's just from the constant wear. Any suggestions or tips on how to solve this issue? I wish I didn't have to wear a pad but that's just not possible right now. Thanks!
