when can your doctor interpret the baby's sex?

I am not getting the Harmony test done bc it would cost like a million dollars so I am waiting until the baby's sex is clear on the sonogram. When I went for my NT scan at 12 weeks the doctor told me they can't tell until 20 weeks. For some reason I thought they can usually tell by 15.

Im doing an elective ultrasound at exactly 15 weeks. They used to do it at 14 weeks at my doctor's office but they said they were having too much trouble with it being inaccurate at that week but weren't having any trouble at 15 weeks. Ask your doctor if they do elective ultrasounds or call around to other offices and see if they do, because they should be able to tell before 20 weeks! My insurance won't cover the elective ultrasound but it's only $40 out of pocket!

We are having a private scan at 16 weeks to determine sex . I'm in uk only costs £50 u get a scan and 2 pics hope this helps xx

To be accurate and 100% sure around 16 weeks because that's when the genitals are fully developed. I found out Thursday at 16 weeks and there's no doubt at all it's a boy.
