So my 3 month old still every now and then scratches himself. I used to nibble on his nails and hang nails when he was small. Now he's bigger and his nails are too hard for that to be effective. I clip his nails once or twice a week, or as see needed. I've tried before and after bath time, tried the baby nail clippers, which are too dull, and finally a small adult clipper. No matter what I do so far his nails are just sharp. He even leaves marks on my breasts from occasional over excited feeding. Any tips from mom's here on how to soften those nails? They're too small of a nail file... I think...
