too soon to buy baby things?

At 5 weeks pregnant all I want to do is starting buying baby things lol

I know it's too early but I can't help it lol

Anyone else like this?

And when can you start buying?

I'd wait until after you get a healthy 20 week scan

We bought NOTHING until after the shower -at 27 weeks, because we wanted to see how much and what we get at the shower, before we go crazy on baby stuff.
I'm glad I did, because I added over 150 items on my registry and they all got bought. From clothes, dispers to crib and swings..

I started buying baby stuff before we even started trying! I say it's never too early!

I would wait till gender ultrasound from experience. Because of miscarriage. It can happen up until 19 weeks.

I got some gender neutral clothes because I'm to excited not to and why not. Heck I'm a FTM and I do what I want. Go ahead and buy some stuff if you feel like it. :) It feels sooo good!

I'd wait. I bought some stuff the first time and I ended up with a miscarriage at 5 weeks. Since August those items have sat in the bag in the living room. I can't go through them. So there they sit. Staring at me everyday. It's really a personal choice. With this baby I'm not buying anything until our anatomy scan next week

I'd honestly wait. You're going to want to buy things during your whole pregnancy and you've got nine months to go! Plus, youll likely change your mind about a lot of things you want as you research.
