Coconut Oil teeth whitener?

So I've heard that coconut oil can whiten your teeth. I've wanted to try it for the longest time but I wasn't sure if it actually worked. I was also kind of weirded out but how it might taste. Has anyone tried this? And if so, how fast did you see results? Did it taste gross?

Coconut pulling, my sisters teeth is sensitive to any kind of toothpaste but didn't want to not brush her teeth so my mom did some research and suggested she do this. Of course coconut oil is home made, my parents make them so my sister uses coconut oil to brush her teeth with. She takes about half a Tbsp and swishes it in her mouth for a total of 30 minutes. (She does other things while she just swishes) It was weird at first for her but after a week and a half, her teeth were no longer sensitive, they were whiter than mine, her breath literally never stinks, and it strengthens her teeth. So maybe you could try it. I tried to do it but I don't like the feeling of oil in my mouth so it's a no for me. She loves it and her teeth look great!

Lol I want to try it but it's so gross. I made it like 15 seconds with it in my mouth. Idk how people make it through 20 minutes of oil pulling every day. 😷
