so embarrassing

I have to post this, i was at my boyfriends house this morning and I literally clogged the toilet 😓 I tried to use hot water and soap and it didn't work so i had to tell him the toilet was broken- i just wanted to curl up and cry im a small human i dont know how it happened, any advice on how to subtly unclog or avoid clogging it in the first place?
