Gassy while breastfeeding?

Ah... annoying...
Soooooo much gas every time i breastfeed. Is this normal?
Weirdly enough ... apart from my baby being severely colic, 
I also got sensitive to foods that make babies gassy... like garlic n onion. Soooo weird ppl ! Never had an issue till after i gave birth... serious nightmare... 
Plz advise or share ur story .. i feel alone on the matter ..

My LO is 17 weeks old and is still SUPER gassy and up several times per night. She is exclusively breastfed and I'm dairy/soy/caffeine free. I've tried everything and starting to think about putting her on formula.

I feel for you! I've had onion sensitivities my whole life. It's very inconvenient. And it appears my son has them as well! For me, cooked onion is much less a problem than raw onion. I hope it goes away for you! It's a pain to deal with because onion seems to be in everything.

I had this problem and stopped eating dairy. Now he's way better. I miss cheese....lol

Lol, I went through this. I was gassy baby was gassy. My dr said basically everything you eat, your baby eats. If it upsets your belly, it'll upset babies.
