In law grandparents.

Ta
Just wondering what different moms perspectives are on grandparents.   We just went to my grandparents house and they wanted us to stay and had a high chair and toys ready and we were only there a weekend. So my in laws want us to come every week for dinner.  But unless I provide a highchair, playpen, toys, mats (hardwood floors).  There is nothing there for my 6 month old.   I don't feel like I should have to provide a second set for them when it's them wanting us over often.  And I'm also not lugging around a high chair and play and pack for their convinience.  They have me several times to babysit so hubs and I can go to a movie but I say not unless you're at my house because your house is not baby friendly.  And since they don't want to drive the 20 minutes to my house they choose not to.
Did your parents/in laws make their house child friendly? Buy any toys or high chairs to keep at their house for dinners or babysitting? Aside from the baby shower and Christmas they actually haven't gotten our little guy anything at all along the way.   It doesn't matter to me that they haven't, but I'm wondering how many out there had same or different experiences.
