Best friend and STDs

I slept with a close friend of mine about two months ago and he texted me to tell me he tested positive for chlamydia!!! I'm scared to get tested, even though I know I have to. What scares me is that I was only the second girl he's been with, and he was negative for it ater his first. The guy I slept with before him was a total asshole and talking to him makes me so nervous that I shake and want to vomit, so I don't want to ask him to get tested because he's also a bit verbally abusive. I need help with handling this situation :(
