no more shields!
After needing to use nipple shields for 7 weeks, I can finally get my guy to latch on without it!
For other people out there struggling, don't give up hope. I was bummed when my lactation consultant immediately had me use a shield in the hospital due to flatness. But after 7 weeks of diligent shield usage my nipples have finally popped and my guy is happily latching.
