I felt that there wasn't a post like this when I started trying and am now waiting to see if cycle 12 starts on Tuesday or Wednesday so I wanted to post.

Those new to ttc I wanted to give some advice that I'm sure a lot of women have learnt from their journeys.

Don't stress! Don't get complicated!

By all means track your cycle a bit but I wish I'd never tracked it in those first few months. I went straight into using ovulation tests and I wish I'd just relaxed for the first few months, had sex just when we wanted to and taken folic acid.

I'll definitely be doing this next time if we manage to conceive our first!

Good luck and, speaking from my experience which has really sucked at some points, I really genuinely hope you conceive quickly.

I wouldn't wish this shit on anyone.

Last piece of advice: don't tell everyone and just wait for your period to show up or not show up for the first few months or you'll turn into a psychopathic, over analysing sausage! Otherwise known as a poas (or pee on a stick addict)!
