miscarriage

I've been bleeding for more than 30 days.! My Hcg Levels were going up but weren't raising like they should've. No one could really tell anything but it possibly was an eptopic pregnancy but still didn't know because I was too early.! Finally my levels shot up only to start dropping.! This is my Second miscarriage.! My blood or whatever it is smells terrible and it's a brown paste when it hits my panty liner.! It's a dark red when I wipe.! My doctor said he didn't want to do a D&C he wanted to wait to see if it passed.! I'm confused and dnt know what to do.. If there is a fetus I'm 8weeks and 1day
