keeping pregnancy a secret?

Anyone else plan/have kept their pregnancy a secret? We suffered a miscarriage at about 9 weeks with our first and I plan to keep it a secret until I'm showing (actually hoping to wait until I'm like 5-6 months). What are your tips for keeping it quiet? I won't have to worry about alcohol as I don't drink around our families often. I'm also not tiny (not huge either, just average). Any other tips?

Ask people lots of questions about their lives. Most people love to talk about themselves and will forget to ask you anything in return. At least that worked for me when I was keeping things quiet.

Couldn't wait to tell everyone! Told all our family at 12 weeks. The attention is nice (sometimes lol) I've waited for this so couldn't wait to shout it out. 35 weeks now and don't regret telling anyone at 12 w xx

I just didn't say anything for ages. People at work didn't know til I was 20 weeks or so. Though I had issues with different smells making me nauseous, that was tough to hide

I didn't announce until we found out the gender. I did however tell my parents and in laws around 5 weeks, it was Mother's Day.

I'm 16 weeks today and haven't officially announced yet. Only close family know that I'm pregnant. I dot even know why I'm keeping it a secret, all is well with the pregnancy...

We didn't announce until 18 weeks. It helped that I didn't live around most of the family on both sides.. and it's winter so I wore a lot of baggier clothing!
