Just wanted to see if all babies fight their naps??

When my facebook friends post a picture of their kids asleep in their high chair or in the middle of playing... how?!?!?! Mine always needed a combination of the perfect sleep conditions, a 15 minute pre-sleep routine, and a miracle before they would fall asleep.

My 5.5 month old fights soo hard, always has...& she fights dirty! She loves to stare me down as i'm trying to get her to nap & she'll do a "social cough" because it always makes me look to make sure she's ok. Lol. She also lets out a huge last "end of the world" cry/screech right before she passes out for a nap...just to make sure the world knows she protests. At least she wakes up with a smile!

Yes!! Mine will not nap anywhere but home and even that's up for debate. She will only sleep when we're out if she is just so exhausted she can't function anymore, then it's 20min catnap and she's awake again and still cranky. I get so jealous when I go somewhere with friends and their baby just falls asleep in the car or whatever... what black magic is this that your child sleeps in a car seat?

My daughter has always loved her naps. Whenever she got cranky, we just layed her down in her crib with her special blanket, and she'd lay there quietly and go straight to sleep. We always laughed about it because she'll be in a full blown meltdown and the second she hits her crib, there's silence.

Most do yes they dont want to sleep because they are afraid they will miss something new to explore
