Due to a hectic schedule the date my baby shower is looking like it'll have to be 8 weeks before my due date. I'm afraid that's too early. When did you/are you planning your baby shower? 🤔

I'll be 34 weeks, so right at the start of my 8th month. I would have it sooner if I hadn't have waited so long to start planning. It's not terrible to have it early, especially so you have extra time to clean all the clothes and items. (:

I am 22.5 weeks and Friday my coworkers surprised me with a baby shower because I have started buying up everything we will need. It was wonderfully sweet. :) Even if - heaven forbid - something happens, I will still have a memory when everything was perfect.

My sister had her in May and didn't deliver till Aug 1st. She was in Med school and had an extremely limited schedule, that and they were moving states in july. Her main reason was so she would have plenty of time to buy what didn't get bought off her registry

That's totally fine! Mine was 5.5 weeks before my due date, & I did get nervous because if baby had come early, we wouldn't have been ready. I threw my friend's shower 10 weeks before her due date (because she lives out of state now & that's what worked with travel) & it wasn't too early at all.

My shower is 4 weeks before my due date. Not my preference...I'll just order what I need after it and pray I don't go into early labor. Or my hubby will have to go shopping.

I say you should have it at least 6 or 7 months because you actually never know when you are going to have the baby! My sister had her baby shower the day before she had her baby! I also know of someone who had there baby before they even got to do their shower. Really it's your preference but if you want to have it before baby is born sooner the better!

Mine will be at 35 weeks but it's because it's my fiances and my anniversary too. Doing it 8 weeks prior is not a big deal :)
