dislike his friends

Does anyone dislike there significant others friends or people they hang around? I really don't like my partners friends, they aren't mean or anything but they just sit around and smoke and drink and don't care about their lives or have anything in common with me, even the women so I have a hard time hanging out with them because they act trashy and smell. I don't care who my bf's friends with but how do I make him understand these aren't good people to hang around ?
