would I get withdrawal bleed while pregnant?

So I suck at taking the pill. I didn't take it as consistently as I should've. I took 4 pregnancy tests, two of which were the electronic kind and all of them were clear positives. Naturally I stopped taking the pill. I'm about 4 weeks, I stopped two days ago. I know when you get a period on the pill it's not a real "period" it's just withdrawal blood, and I started bleeding today, about the same amount and consistency as my usual "periods" on the pill. Is this normal even though I'm pregnant or should I go in? The test I took tonight after I began bleeding was a strong positive as well. Any opinions would be great.

Depending on where you were in your pack you could have confused your body. You are creating pregnancy progesterone and the pill has progesterone. Stopping on this pert of your cycle could have made your progesterone drop convincing your body that the pregnancy isn't good and to shed the lining. Get to the dr ASAP to see where your progesterone is and if you need to be put on supplements.

You probably want to see a doctor either way.

If you are miscarrying, you'll want to make sure everything came out so you dont get an infection.

If it is just a withdraw bleed, you'll want to know how far along you are.

Seeing as how its heavy like a period, it sounds like a miscarriage to me but I'm no doctor.
