Infected tattoo...
Starting to get infected I called tattoo shop they said to wash five times a day and put ointment on same amount.... What else can I do to stop it from getting worse??

I have several tattoos, and from your picture the tattoo does not look infected. It looks to be healing properly. Just keep it clean with antibiotic soap and ointment.

Stop with the ointment! Ointment is good first couple to few days then switch to fragrance free lotion. Too much oil can clog the tattoo and make it get like that. Keep it clean and when your at home no shoe/socks and keep it moisturized with the lotion. Even with ointment at first it's literally like a very tiny amount that you would use. I have like 200 hundred tattoos so I'm good with the healing process :)

Could it be from your shoes rubbing against it.   I would try to leave it out of shoes and let it breathe.

It doesn't look infected. When a tattoo is healing it scabs and peels and looks pretty gross for awhile but it's normal. Just make sure you're using unscented soap and only a LITTLE bit of ointment, and rub it on gently. DON'T pick at it

That is not an infected tattoo. I have 10, and all of mine were red and swollen for a couple days afterward. As long as you are washing with antibacterial soap and putting on plenty of aquaphor or whatever other moisturizer you are fine. Now if you start running a fever and yellow puss comes out, then you have an infection. This is what an infected tattoo looks like 👇🏼

Make sure your using an anti bacterial soap like dial. And I like the a&d ointment for my tattoos. Wash. Dry. Ointment. Multiple times a day especially for a foot tattoo. And clean it really good in the shower. Think about it...all the grime from your body washes down to your feet. 
And use clean socks too.

It doesn't look infected. Just wash it good and put aquaphor on it. And let it breathe if you haven't. If you be been wearing shoes they may be irritating it. Try finding an open shoe if that's the case. Or take shoe off Sale much as possible
