Iud or toilet paper?

Sounds dumb but is this toilet paper or part of my iud .. it was tough to break into pieces but not plastic

It could be either or. Depending on how long you've had the IUD, the once wirey strings soften and can sometimes fall off of the actual IUD, I had it happen to a friend once. Though I'm sure you're fine and that it is rare, I'd go to the doctor just to make sure everything is in place.
